Founder & Chief Medical Officer

Carlos Guerrero Silva, MD, PHD

Carlos Guerrero Silva, MD, PHD, received his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia (1992) and completed his residency in orthopedics and trauma surgery at Hospital de Clinicas “Jose de San Martin” in Buenos Aires, Argentina (1996). He practiced orthopedic medicine and surgery for 18 years. In 2008 he joined the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and in 2020 he completed his PhD in regenerative medicine from Cambridge International University. Shortly after that, in January of 2022, he joined the American Board of Regenerative Medicine.

He is a member of the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma (SCCOT), the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), the Colombian Society of Shock Waves (OCC), and the Latin American Society of Knee and Sports Surgery (SLAOT).

In 2014 he started Stemwell Regenerative Medicine Clinic as the founder and chief medical officer. Patients see Dr Guerrero because of his impeccable track record, trustworthiness, and vast knowledge of stem cells. He has successfully learned to administer large volumes of stem cells through localized injections directly into the injured area, followed by intravenous treatments to decrease inflammation. His comprehensive protocols offer physical therapy, laser therapy, cell detoxification, inflammation reduction through the hyperbaric chamber, anti-inflammatory diets, anti-inflammatory supplements, and best of all, many young, robust third generation/passage stem cells.
